Intellectual Property Rights Policy

Last Updated on July 5, 2026

Welcome to Marketeq Digital Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Marketeq," "we," "us," or "our"). This Intellectual Property Rights Policy (the "Policy") describes the ownership and permitted use of the intellectual property associated with our website, digital products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). Intellectual property is central to the value that Marketeq creates for its clients, and this Policy is intended to protect that value and to set clear expectations regarding its use. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Policy. If you have any questions regarding this Policy, you may contact us at legal@marketeqdigital.com.

1. Scope and Definitions

This Policy applies to all intellectual property made available through or associated with the Services. "Intellectual Property" includes copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade names, patents, trade secrets, know-how, designs, and all other proprietary rights, whether registered or unregistered. "Marketeq IP" means Intellectual Property owned by or licensed to Marketeq. "Third-party IP" means Intellectual Property owned by parties other than Marketeq. These definitions apply throughout this Policy regardless of whether the terms appear in the singular or the plural.

2. Ownership of Marketeq IP

All Marketeq IP, including the design, structure, functionality, content, and underlying technology of the Services, is owned by Marketeq or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly provided in this Policy or in a separate agreement, no right, title, or interest in any Marketeq IP is transferred to you by virtue of your use of the Services. Marketeq reserves all rights not expressly granted. The methodologies, frameworks, tools, and proprietary materials developed by Marketeq remain its exclusive property. Your access to the Services does not constitute a transfer of any intellectual property rights.

3. Limited License to Users

Subject to your compliance with this Policy and any applicable agreement, Marketeq grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services and their content for their intended purposes. This license does not permit you to reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from any Marketeq IP except as expressly authorized. You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices contained in the Services. Any use of Marketeq IP beyond the scope of this license requires the prior written consent of Marketeq. This license terminates automatically if you violate any provision of this Policy.

4. Protection of Intellectual Property

Marketeq takes reasonable measures to protect its Intellectual Property and expects users, partners, and third parties to respect it. You must not engage in any activity that infringes upon, misappropriates, or otherwise violates the Intellectual Property rights of Marketeq or its licensors. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive the source code of any proprietary software except to the extent permitted by applicable law. You must not use Marketeq IP to develop competing products or services. Marketeq reserves the right to take appropriate action to protect its Intellectual Property.

5. Feedback and Contributions

If you provide Marketeq with feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Services, you grant Marketeq a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback into its products and services without any obligation to compensate you. Feedback you provide is not considered confidential to you unless otherwise agreed in writing. You represent that any feedback or contribution you provide does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. This provision enables Marketeq to improve its Services based on user input. Any contribution you make must comply with our other policies.

6. Respect for Third-party IP

Marketeq respects the Intellectual Property rights of others and expects users to do the same. Where the Services incorporate Third-party IP, such IP remains the property of its respective owners and is used by Marketeq under license or with permission. You must not use any Third-party IP made available through the Services in a manner that infringes upon the rights of its owner. Further information regarding Third-party IP is set out in our Third-party Intellectual Property Acknowledgment and related policies. We are committed to using Third-party IP only in accordance with applicable rights and licenses.

7. Reporting Infringement

If you believe that any content or material available through the Services infringes upon your Intellectual Property rights, you may notify us in accordance with our IP Violation Reporting and Response procedures. We will review properly submitted notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to allegedly infringing material. We may also take action against repeat infringers. We are committed to responding to legitimate infringement claims in a timely and responsible manner.

8. Consequences of Violations

Any violation of this Policy may result in the suspension or termination of your access to the Services and may expose you to liability under applicable law. Marketeq reserves the right to pursue all available legal and equitable remedies to protect its Intellectual Property, including seeking injunctive relief. Marketeq's decision not to enforce a particular provision does not waive its right to enforce that or any other provision in the future. We treat the protection of Intellectual Property as a serious matter.

9. Changes to This Policy

Marketeq reserves the right to modify or update this Intellectual Property Rights Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any changes will become effective upon posting the revised Policy, and we encourage you to review it periodically. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
